What is S.M.A.R.T. Housing?
The SMART Housing program was created by the City of Austin to provide Safe, Mixed-Income, Accessible, Reasonably Priced, and Transit Oriented housing options for the city’s residents through reduced rental rates.
You can qualify if you receive need-based financial aid or meet our low-to-moderate income requirement, which is earning equal to or less than 60% of the Area Median Income.
